Ryan Gregnol is a professional long driver and golf entertainer from Nipigon, ON, Canada, currently residing in Kitchener, ON. Standing at 6'4" and weighing 225 lbs, he has achieved a ball speed record of 237.1 mph and a longest recorded drive of 457 yards. His club head speed personal best is 160.0 mph.
Gregnol began his long drive career in 2008, qualifying for the World Championships in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2014. After a brief hiatus to pursue powerlifting, he made a comeback in 2018 and won the Canadian National Long Drive Championship in 2020. Despite an injury in 2021, he finished 10th at the World Championships. In 2022, he finished 15th at the World Championships and had a successful return to competition. In 2023, Gregnol competed full-time, finishing 9th at the World Championships, winning a second Canadian Championship, and placing T5 in a European tour event in Germany.
In addition to his competitive career, Gregnol is actively involved in his community, running clinics, coaching juniors, and providing entertainment at charity golf events.
